Green and Orange, Green and Orange

Hey there! Hope you all had a great weekend! We dined at The District Friday night.  We met family late-ish around 8 and didn't start eating until close to 9.  When I am famished I'm sorry to say I forget I have a food-blog, or a name for that matter ;) But, dinner was great! Oysters, Shrimp, and scallops oh-my! I had the scallop special which came with pesto mashed potatoes! It was very good, sorry there are no pics to prove it!

In the anticipation for Thanksgiving I had a hankering for a baked yam (same as a sweet potato I think?)


This is the hungry-man's plate.  Salad, veggie burger with the usual fixins, and a yam.



Spinach salad with carrots, cukes, and a killer shallot vinaigrette I made (diced shallots, olive oil, balsamic, and s&p whisked well). All tossed together and topped with a little feta.

  
I wasn't as hungry-- I spoiled my dinner with some cereal around 5. So, I opted for this ginormous  salad and of course a yam (with yogurt butter and a sprinkle of brown sugar, yum). G'night!
