Shallot Vinaigrette

I don't really love many store bought dressings, I prefer to make my own to compliment whatever crazy salad I'm making.  But, right now I'm pretty obsessed with a shallot vinaigrette so why not make a little more, bottle it, and have it ready to go!


The ingredients: Balsamic Vinegar, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 1 shallot, and an empty bottle.



Dice the shallots and add to a bowl with 1 part vinegar to 2 parts oil, salt & pepper.  Whisk it all together.


Pour it into the bottle or onto your salad!
