We didn't make it to the grocery store tonight which means I was scrounging for fresh dinner ingredients. I didn't have to get too creative though because we had a whole wheat pizza shell in the freezer, along with some
Rosarios Pesto. The Rosario's crust is just plain awesome! It gets so crispy in 8 quick minutes and dinner is ready! Pizza doesn't have to be a fatty mess, choose veggies over meat and wheat crust over white, (with not too much cheese) guilt-free awesomeness :)
Tonight I topped the whole wheat crust with pesto, spinach, part skim mozz and shallots. Shallots were a great choice, such great flavor. Side salad of course with a basil infused grape seed oil and balsamic dressing.
If you like making pizza at home and live in Maine Rosario's products are available at
these locations!
Chomp! Perfect dinner for two!
