Scallion Farmer

I do not like raw onions but I love SCALLIONS! I buy them every week until I came across the best trick on Pinterest.  When you have used your scallions all the way to the ends put the white part in a jar with an inch or so of water.  They grow right in the jar. This was after just a few days sitting in the window! Cool huh!? Maybe this will be the one edible plant I can keep alive. Fingers crossed!

In the depths of this bowl lies spinach, chick peas, tomatoes, cukes, a fried egg, avocado and scallions. Oh and a wee bit of shredded jack cheese :)



Annie's Light Honey Mustard came to dinner.
