Funny Bunnies

Busy busy busy here! I've been neglecting my blog! Here's what I was up to on Easter! I love Easter, truthfully it has more to do with my love of candy then anything else.

I spent the night before Easter at my parent house and woke to these delightful bloody marys and braided Easter bread for breakfast! Yum. We were providing the dessert for Easter dinner and had decided earlier in the week to make a fruit pizza on a sugar cookie crust. Buttttt the cookie stuck to the pan and we had to improvise!

Mom quickly whipped up this pastry instead! Topped with a cream cheese icing and lots-o-fruit.

We then headed to my Grandmother's house for her traditional Easter day celebration with an untraditional twist. This year we passed on the ham in place of LOBSTER ROLLS!  New tradition maybe??? Fingers crossed!

Some fruit and vanilla yogurt and shrimp cocktail.

the cutest/least devilish eggs ever!

look closely and spot the chocolate bunnies in the center of the table.
Isn't the table so springy and great!!

Lobster rolls, so good! We always have them on grilled hamburger buns and I love it that way!

Steamed asparagus with a dill dressing was also enjoyed.

The fruit pastry was amazing!! I had wayyyy too much of it. Thanks for hosting Nanny! We had a great time!
