Creamy Oats


There's a new kind of oat in town! For me anyway! Creamy oat bran! I am a huge fan of grits (from short time spent further down the east coast) but they don't offer much for nutrients. This creamy oat bran is a great substitute and is high in fiber and protein!  
1/3 cup organic oat bran, 1 cup of boiling water stirred in slowly. A teaspoon of brown sugar for a bit of sweetness. Organic maine blueberries swimming in there along with sliced almonds and a tiny bit' cookie butter.
New oaty addiction! Yum! The only down side is I didn't find them as filling as my regular rolled oats that keep me full until lunch. You should give them a try though!
