Ghoulish Granola

I hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween night! We were not expecting trick or treaters at our new house, but sure enough around 6 o'clock there came a knock at the door. Man-friend and I looked at each other sheepishly both knowing we had no candy. Tempted with the idea of giving them each a parsnip and calling it a witch finger or something equally ridiculous. We ended up turning them away empty handed, but not before they called us "Halloween Scrooges". After a quick trip to the store we were better prepared for the knocks later that night. Later in the evening we attended the Halloween bash at Grace in Portland. It's got to be the coolest restaurant in Maine. Set in an old church, Grace was the perfect place to throw a spooky bash!
Homemade granola and a lil' milk, apple cider and coffee rounded out a delightful breakfast.
Chomp Chomp! I'm already dreaming up a festive winter granola...
